IFJT Website Frontpage a Screenshot
The Institut Franco-Japonais du Tokyo, or IFJT for short, is THE main focus for any and all interest in the French community in Japan, especially the greater Tokyo area. It is the cultural and communal heart for Francophiles throughout the country and it was a challenging but also very rewarding task to build a new, completely overhauled, website.

The website is working very well and (especially) Robert is very enthusiastic.

-Cyril Triay, IT Manager

The new website’s key features are – just to name a few: a completely customized and streamlined content management system, with in-depth user and revision management functions, to allow for easier cooperative content creation and edition.

On the front-end, or visual, side there was an all new design which features interactive Javascript elements such as the promotional animated menu, a search and promotion function – which handles numerous daily events and automates functions like newsletter generation.

Before the website went live it went through six or seven design iterations, one of which I have chosen to display below. These revisions are naturally part of the process of honing in on the clients requirements for their preferred design and functionality.
