During my time at Nichiai, I was tasked to take on one of my most challenging projects, not in size but in design. The Nichiai Creative Portfolio homepage. It features a fully customized content management system driven portfolio section, as well as the requisite blog alongside with a smooth Twitter integration.
During the run-time of the site there were several refinements applied to both design and functionality, representing the feedback gathered from both team members and customers.
Later in December 2009, ‘Creative Light’ was launched — a service, allowing for cheap websites that would be built to clients needs using a modular system. The website design supported this accessible approach with easy to understand graphics and use of descriptive and colorful icons. It was fitted with an unique- space-themed appearance, seperating it from the main identity, while retaining enough similarities to be seen as a part of the whole.
Please note: Sadly it seems, that as of March 2011 the website of Nichiai Creative is offline.
