STEP realized that updating their ever-expanding database of interested parties was becoming increasingly troublesome, so after the quick conclusion of the previous print-related work, they engaged me to rethink their website from ground-up – with new functionality and design.

To fully complement the strengthening of their English-oriented identity the site was given a major face-lift and a whole new CMS engine to supply the control and versatility to deal with expanding contents as well as enabling them to offer features like the fully interactive database-driven map, listing EIKEN’s affiliate universities.

As STEP is a learning institution I opted for an airy look that didn’t rely too much on graphical frills, which would just get in the way of usability, but yet offered enough design- subtlety to endear possible visitors to the website.
